Baseball Draft Site
I just reposted the web site for last year's baseball draft league that I ran. I fixed the layout not working under Safari and the session management being broken under the current version of php. I'm really happy with this site - it took quite a lot of work and I'm glad I'll be using it again for a new league. I've got six guys signed up so far at work. I hope to get up to eight. There were six in the league last year and the power level of the teams was a little to high. You can see the final rosters from last year's league on the site (note that this league used 2001 players - I told you it took a while to build the site.)
The main value the site adds is that it conducts the draft automatically. When the team on the clock makes it's pick, the next team gets sent an email letting them know it's their turn. I think the draft is the most fun part of the league. Hopefully we can get some good natured banter going...hey, why not put up a conversation blog all the managers can use...hmm, I'm seeing blogs everywhere now. :-)
