Colgate recognized as Obscure College!
Colgate (my alma mater) has finally hit the big time as their playoff win last Saturday is the Tuesday Morning Quarterback Obscure College Score of the Week.
Gregg Easterbrook, who also writes Easterblogg, writes the weekly Tuesday Morning Quarterback column at nfl.com. I am a much bigger fan of the column than of the NFL, and I always find it amusing and educational.
Obscure College Score of the Week
Colgate 28, Western Illinois 27 (Division I-AA) -- Colgate advances in a game played in a blinding snowstorm; spectators had difficulty seeing the field. Located in pastoral Hamilton, N.Y., Colgate has a picture-perfect hillside campus that is among the prettiest in American higher education. If you want to feel you're going to college on a movie set, Colgate is the school for you.
