Magic Deck: Burning Scepter

This is the first of my Magic deck descriptions. I need to do a disclaimer up front and apologize in advance if a search engine has brought you here. I don't play tournament Magic and these decks WILL NOT win a tournament, heck most of them won't event be legal to play in any tournaments :-) I'm in a work play group and we play multiplayer chaos Magic almost exclusively. We do dabble with limited when each new set comes out but its constructed for the most part. Really, we don't even have to obey Type 1 restrictions although we mostly do as we don't have multiples of the restricted cards. With this deck I have 36 decks active...this means that good cards are getting in short supply. One of my projects is to document all these decks so I can take some apart and put them back together again. So, here is my new deck.

Burning Scepter

4x Isochron Scepter // I wanted to make a Scepter deck
4x Terminate // For the Scepter
4x Incinerate // Also for the Scepter
4x Diabolic Edict // Again...
3x Barter in Blood // I like the sound of this card but it is expensive
1x Innocent Blood // I only had 3 Barters...though this may be the better card costing only B
4x Grab the Reins // An experiment, getting the 7 mana for the Entwine may be challenging
4x Chimeric Idol // The creatureless deck classic
4x Soul Burn // Kill card and life gain
4x Pillage // For pesky artifacts and lands
1x Sulfurous Springs // Yep, I'm running out of good cards
12x Swamp
11x Mountain

This is a creatureless deck designed to mercilessly keep creatures of the board using Isochron Scepter imprinted with Terminate or Diabolic Edict. Winning may be the hard thing. I have Chimeric Idols to attack once the enemy creatures are gone and Soul Burn for the kill. I probably won't be very popular once a Scepter hits the table - we'll see how it goes.
