The iTunes Music Store is pretty amazing

Note that the song URL's in this post will only work if you have iTunes. To download it click Download iTunes

I'm not going to write about music much but I want to mention the iTunes Music Store. Now that iTunes is available for free for both Macintosh and Windows everyone should get it. First, it's a great jukebox program. It's easy to rip your CDs and make playlists. It's the iTunes Music Store that puts it over the top. Now for sure having an iPod makes the store better since you can take the songs you buy off the computer. But even if you never buy a song it is a great song search program. Every song has a 30 second preview. We were playing Songburst on vacation and I was using the iTunes Music Store to play the previews of songs we could not come up with.

Last night is was browsing the store and remembered that I wanted the Christmas song from Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I did not know the name but I did a search for it and came up with Christmas Eve (Sarajevo 12/24). I then sample some of there other songs and downloaded the album Beethoven's Last Night.

Very cool stuff. I highly recommend iTunes and the Music Store.
