Amusement Park Blog
Here's a new web log for my sidebar. Danny's Land is "A blog of amusement park, ride theory and oddball transportation links." I've enjoyed catching up with his archives. They lead me to the defunctparks.com entry on FantasyLand in Gettysburg. This place is burned into my brain. There was this HUGE Mother Goose statue and my Dad told me to walk up to it. Imagine my surprise when it started talking to me! It called me by name and I pretty much completely freaked out - I must have been about 5. Well, it was my Dad having a good joke on me...yep I sure had a lot of fun growing up :-)
