Book Review: American Gods
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
Look, the short answer here is just read this book as soon as you can. I somehow missed this book even though it won both the Nebula and the Hugo awards. It's truly a great book. A fantasy not in the sword and sorcery sense but in the true sense, a story of fantastic plot and themes. Dreams and nightmares play a large part and the book gave me nightmares. This is interesting to me as I don't generally remember my dreams but I had some quite vivid dreams while reading it. I really don't want to give away any of the plot. It's just an excellent book I give it my highest recommendation. Don't miss it.
