A classic push-your-luck dice game: climb as far as you dare on each roll, then decide whether to bank your progress or risk it all on one more throw.
How to Play
- On your turn, roll four dice and split them into two pairs. You may choose either of the up-to-three ways to pair them; each pair's sum (2–12) advances your marker one step in that column.
- You can be actively advancing in at most three columns at once each turn. Advancing a column you've already started this turn is always allowed, even past that limit.
- After every roll, decide whether to keep rolling or stop. Stopping banks your progress in every column you advanced this turn, permanently.
- If a roll leaves no legal way to advance in any pairing, you bust — all progress made this turn is lost, and play passes to the next player. Progress already banked from previous turns is always safe.
- Reach the top of a column to claim it permanently. Claim three columns to win the game.
- Columns near the middle (6, 7, 8) come up more often on four dice, so they're shorter and easier to climb; columns near the ends (2, 12) are rarer and taller. The bust-risk percentage shown each roll reflects this.
Opponents
Play against a choice of computer opponents with genuinely different personalities: Random plays unpredictably, Maniac pushes its luck until the odds turn against it, Genetic AI is the reigning champion of an ongoing genetic-algorithm tournament that has evolved its strategy over hundreds of generations of simulated play, and Cautious AI banks its progress early, playing it safe at the first sign of real risk.
