Dice Vault is made by Casdra Software LLC. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and your choices.
Dice Vault does not track you. There are no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no user accounts, and no third-party data sharing. Most data stays on your device. The small amount that reaches our server is only what you explicitly send.
The following is stored locally via your browser or app storage. It never leaves your device unless you use one of the server features below.
You can clear all local data at any time through your browser or by deleting the app.
These features are optional. If you don't use them, no data is sent.
Game Rooms. When you create or join a shared room, your chosen display name, color, and dice roll results are sent to our server and shared with other players in the room. Room data is temporary and not retained after the session ends.
Bug Reports. If you submit a bug report, your name, description, a screenshot of the app, and the current app configuration are sent to our server to help us fix the issue. Bug reports are retained for debugging purposes.
Community Packs. If you submit a community dice pack, your display name and the pack contents are sent to our server. Approved packs become publicly available to other users.
Your IP address is used temporarily in server memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting). IP addresses are not stored in our database and are discarded within 60 seconds.
The free version of Dice Vault may display banner ads. If ads are present, the ad provider may collect data according to their own privacy policy. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads.
Dice Vault does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any other analytics or tracking service. We do not collect device identifiers, usage patterns, or behavioral data.
Dice Vault does not require registration or login. There are no user accounts, passwords, or email addresses collected.
Dice Vault does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to use.
All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS encryption. Server data is stored in a SQLite database on our hosted infrastructure.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
